General Background:
Since 2005, Mr. Schweigert has participated in the review and measurement of damage claims.   When disaster struck the Gulf States in 2005, Mr. Schweigert was involved in reviewing business income loss claims for a major property insurance carrier.  Mr. Schweigert was stationed in a Baton Rouge/Atlanta CAT center of a large commercial property insurer, where real-time assistance was provided to the company’s property claims adjusters.

Since 2005, Mr. Schweigert has been involved with forensic accounting assignments and damage claim measurements for insurance companies, policyholders, and counsel involved in litigation and dispute resolution.  This includes, analysis of claims for lost profit/earnings, personal injury, insurance audit reviews, and assessing expenses incurred of excess of normal and out-of-pocket losses due to property damage.
